Sonic 3 and Knuckles Review
Jul 2nd
Today we are reviewing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. It was not in a simple cartridge, but it was Sonic the Hedgehog 3 plugged into Sonic & Knuckles’ lock-on port. It was twice as long as the Original Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and also included the ability to play as Knuckles. After completing Launch Base Zone, you will have to beat the Sonic and Knuckles Zones, while transforming your Chaos Emeralds into Super Emeralds. This game’s got to be one of my favorites.
The OCAS RSS Reader
Jul 1st
We made another awesome app for you to download. This time, it’s an RSS Reader, which allows you to read up on the latest news of The OCAS without having your web browser open! The best part about it all is the simple install – double click one file, click install and done! There is also only one file for all Operating Systems and an automatic install button for letting you make a quick grab. More >
Split Disassembly Hacking – The PSB Message
Jun 29th
Today we’ll be showing you how to get the Press Start Button message back on the title screen in Sonic 1. All you need is a split disassembly, (downloadable here) and an ASM editor. We recommend you use our Sonic Hacking Studio, or another editor except Notepad. The message was present in earlier builds of Sonic 1, but it won’t be shown because the Sonic Team Presents screen uses up RAM and doesn’t clear all of it, causing the Press Start Button to stay hidden. Let’s get started! More >

Mega Drive Hacking Studio
Jun 26th
We are currently making our own little Mega Drive Hacking Studio for you! It is aimed at split-disassembles, but should be usable for lots of other stuff too. It will be released for Mac, Linux and Windows, and will include many new features. We hope to release something soon, so you can try it out before anyone else can. That green super-emerald is the logo for Mega Drive Hacking Studio, if you’re wondering. Now, downloads are here. Just click here to see them. More >
